Kelly Dalton is a seasoned entertainment executive and storyteller who has spent more than a decade in the film industry. In that time, she has worked on more than 80 Oscar campaigns, contributing to 200 nominations and 35 wins.

Dalton most recently served as Senior Director of Talent Relations & Awards at Netflix, where she played a pivotal role in helping the streamer break into the awards space. She worked on award campaigns for dozens of acclaimed films including Maestro, Power Of The Dog, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Roma, The Irishman, Marriage Story, My Octopus Teacher, Period End Of Sentence, and Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio

Her time at Netflix was one of historic recognition for the studio, garnering 163 Oscar nominations and 25 Oscar wins. Netflix earned Best Picture nominations all seven years of her tenure and was the most nominated studio for four consecutive years, topping nomination records and breaking barriers for both streaming and cinema alike. 

Dalton began her film career in her hometown of Toronto. She got her start with the Toronto Film Festival and later transitioned to LTLA Communications, where she worked on Oscar-winning films including Lady Bird, La La Land, Room. Her campaigns also led to Best Picture wins for Spotlight and Moonlight. 

Throughout her career, and in some of the darkest days of her own life, Kelly has learned firsthand the power of film to foster connection and healing. In 2025, she founded Higher Altitude Productions with a mission to produce stories that inspire and transform lives. The first story she will tell is her own.
